Dr. Adam Schulte is a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine and the founder of Sunstone Direct Primary Care in Yorba Linda, California. He started Sunstone because he believes medicine should be about relationships, not billing codes — and that every patient deserves a doctor who actually has time for them.
Before founding Sunstone, Dr. Schulte saw firsthand how the traditional healthcare system fails patients: rushed visits, impersonal care, and a system designed around insurance companies rather than people. DPC lets him practice medicine the way he always wanted to — with time, attention, and genuine connection.
Beyond the clinic, Dr. Schulte is a CrossFit Level 2 trainer and competitive athlete who brings firsthand understanding of fitness, movement, and injury prevention to every patient interaction. He's also an FAA-designated Aviation Medical Examiner, providing flight physicals to pilots throughout Southern California.
When he's not seeing patients, you'll find Dr. Schulte training at the gym, spending time with his family, or steeped in one of countless hobbies: woodworking, daytrading/investing, gold panning, crypto, baking, raising chickens, and general DIY handywork!
